Anyone seeing this happy scene of me and my daughter will surely think that I’m the luckiest mom who has figured everything out.
But that couldn’t be further from the truth.
Despite having a relatively easy birth, a healthy baby, and a quick postpartum recovery, I was still struggling.
Two years into postpartum, I found myself sitting on the side of the playground, unable to jump or run with my daughter because of leaking.
I felt confused and ashamed, with no idea what to do. I hoped the problem would go away on its own, but it didn’t.
So I went back to my regular exercise routine: yoga, pilates, running and to my shock, the symptoms only got worse.
I started reading, researching, and talking to other moms. I tried different exercises, figuring out what worked and what didn’t.
I completely retrained my pelvic floor in just two months and regained full function. All my symptoms disappeared, and I could finally jump and run with my daughter all day!
I’m here to tell you that this is possible for you, too.
Your body will heal, you will get stronger and you will feel confident and comfortable in your body again.
I’m 100% not suggesting that all post-partum journeys should look like mine. Your start point and your end point will inevitably look different to mine.
But the scale of change you can achieve in just a few months is mindblowing.
All you need is… CONSISTENCY.
And here’s the secret sauce when it comes to being consistent:
🌹 It only works when you’re kind to yourself.
❌ You CAN’T be consistent if you set yourself wildly high expectations or run yourself into the ground.
💫 You CAN be consistent if you make a sustainable plan that respects your body, your energy levels and the other stuff going on in your life.
I invite you to watch my FREE masterclass on how you can heal & retrain your core so you get to experience how my postpartum recovery method works.
