Sicherheit hört nicht beim Atemweg auf. 💡🫁

⚠️ Wenn Mageninhalt in die Luftröhre gelangt, kann das in Notfallsituationen schnell ein Problem werden.

Der LT®evo hat deshalb einen integrierten Magenzugang. Während der untere Cuff in der Öffnung der Speiseröhre liegt und optimal abdichtet, können großlumige Magensonden (bis 18 Fr für #4 und #5) problemlos eingeführt werden, um Flüssigkeit zu kanalisieren und abzuleiten. Das widerstandsfreie Einführen der Magensonde kann zudem hilfreich sein, um die korrekte Platzierung des LT®evo zu bestätigen.

Safety goes beyond the airway. 💡🫁

⚠️ If stomach fluid enters the trachea, this can quickly become a problem in an emergency situation.

The LT®evo therefore features an integrated gastric access. Whilst the lower cuff rests in the oesophageal opening and provides an optimal sealing, large size gastric tubes (up to 18 Fr for #4 and #5) can easily be inserted to channel and drain fluid. Inserting the gastric tube without resistance may be helpful to confirm correct placement of the LT®evo.

Eine supraglottische Atemwegshilfe ist eine temporäre Lösung. ⏳

Deshalb bietet der LT®evo zusätzlich die Möglichkeit einer Intubation. Eine Gruppe von Servicetechnikern 👨‍🔧👩‍🔧 hat sich dort zu einem konstruktiven Workshop getroffen. 🤝 Thema: Die Verwendung, Pflege und Wartung von Tourniquet-Geräten.
