Then Clinical Summer School 2026 is for you!

During this two-day event hosted by Synapse Aarhus, you will receive a comprehensive introduction to all phases of clinical trials, from first-in-human studies to marketing approval and long-term monitoring. You will work hands-on casework with real-world clinical challenges, gain insights from industry experts on innovative topics within Clinical trials, and have the great opportunities to network with fellow students and life science professionals.

A quick guide to the clinical trial phases:
Phase 1: First trials in humans (20–80 participants). Focus: safety and dosage.
Phase 2: Hundreds of patients. Focus: efficacy and side effects.
Phase 3: Large studies (1,000–3,000 patients). Confirm effectiveness and monitor rare side effects.
Phase 4: After approval. Track long-term safety and real-world performance.
