Meet Gen Kelsang Dragpa 🧘✨ 24 - 26 April
At countryside course “Introduction to Ta**ra”

Gen Dragpa is the National Spiritual Director of all the Nordic countries and a wonderful teacher. He has taught extensively in Europe and has granted many empowerments. He has years of experience of Buddhist Ta***ic practices and has attended many retreats.

I have received many teachings from him and they are always clear and deeply inspiring. Especially one sentence always stays with me: "Just do it - and you will see that it works. "

We have invited him to Denmark for a weekend course at Maribo Inspirationcenter so that we can learn from his wealth of knowledge and experience. This will set us up well to begin or continue our Ta***ic practices, which will move us quickly towards a richer and more meaningful life.

If you would like to practice Ta**ra or you have received an empowerment and would like to deepen your practice this weekend course is for you.

I look forward to spending time with you.

Love,

Karen, EPC Kadampa Meditationscenter

Three more days of early bird 🐦🐦🐦

Enjoy a weekend exploring ta**ra with international teacher Gen Kelsang Dragpa.

The Buddha's ta***ic teachings are the most profound and transformative of all his instructions and are known as the fast track to enlightenment. But what is Ta**ra?
What makes ta***ic practice so special? And how can it improve our everyday lives and strengthen our spiritual training?

This course is ideal for anyone who wants to deepen their meditation practice and explore the transformative power of Ta**ra.

“All the happiness there is in this world
arises from wishing others to be happy.”
– Shantideva

This simple truth points to something very deep: real happiness comes not from focusing on ourselves, but from genuinely caring for others.

In Guide to the Bodhisattva’s Way of Life, Shantideva goes even further, encouraging us to become a source of benefit for everyone:

“…to accomplish the welfare of all living beings
I will transform my body into an enlightened wishfulfilling jewel.”

Within each of us lies this potential. Our Buddha nature is like a wishfulfilling jewel – a source of wisdom, love, and compassion that can fulfill both our own wishes and those of others.

In Ta**ra, we learn how to bring this potential into our actual experience. Through the practice of self-generation, such as identifying ourself as Buddha Shakyamuni, we begin to let go of limited self-views and instead train in seeing ourself as a being whose very nature is to benefit others.

In this way, cherishing others is no longer just an idea. It becomes something we gradually become.

Join us this spring to explore these profound and practical methods.

In moments of simple beauty, we can pause and allow our mind to become peaceful and present. Instead of rushing past these experiences, we can learn to fully enjoy them.

In Kadampa practice, we are encouraged to offer this enjoyment to the Buddhas. By doing so, our ordinary pleasure becomes something meaningful, and our mind becomes more open, grateful, and joyful.

In this way, even a small moment can become part of the spiritual path.
