Let’s see what our first volunteer ever says after her first month in Poland 🇵🇱🥹:
“Cezsc!
My name is Eleri. One thing about me is that I’m a volunteer from Estonia, currently living in Poland and working in a democratic-style school. This is a completely new experience for me, as my own education was in a traditional school system and it’s also my first time working with kids.
The changes are big, but exciting. Moving out on my own for the first time, sharing accommodation with volunteers from different countries and backgrounds, and learning how to balance work, free time, and everyday life. There’s a lot of adapting happening right now, but I’m genuinely enjoying the process.
I’m excited to see what’s ahead, to learn the language, and to grow through all of this one day at a time!!!”

“Mina olen Eleri. Üks põnev fakt minu kohta on see, et olen hetkel vabatahtlik demokraatlikus koolis Poolas. See on minu jaoks täiesti uus kogemus, kuna olen ise õppinud “tavalises” koolisüsteemis ning töötan lastega esimest korda.
Muutusi on palju, kuid olen väga elevil. Esimest korda iseseisvalt välja kolimine, majutuse jagamine teiste vabatahtlikega, kes tulevad hoopis teistsugusest kultuuriruumist kui mina, ning vajadus õppida, kuidas igapäevaelus tasakaalustada töö ja vaba aeg. Praegu olen alles kohanemisprotsessis, kuid naudin seda kõike meeletult.
Olen elevil, et näha, mis mind ees ootab, õppida keelt ja kasvada üks päev korraga!!!”
