Almost 6 months ago since you left me.

I see pictures of you all the time but this summer i miss you even more remembering going to the clinic with our shorts and summer outfits, 6 years ago! I was so young learning so much and excited. Also fighting on what to prescribe 🤪 what did i know?! Remember when i'd prescribe something else!? Been doing 3 summers without you and it's never been the same.

Today someone walked in during my clinic when they heard i was your son. He wasn't even coming to see me. Just telling like EVERYONE else how amazing you are and saved their child from Kawazaki disease. You know I diagnosed it twice this past year?? I'm sure they wouldn't tell the story like how they talked about you. But i wish i'd go home and tell you! You'd humble me as always but i remember how your eyes looked even when you wouldn't want to compliment me. Sooo many stories but i know you're watching, i just wish i can share them with you and see that look again 👀

You always knew how cocky i was and how i always wanted to be the best. You always humbled me. But don't worry I'm getting humbled DAILY. Incredible stories about you everyday. 😂
How can i still be hearing stories about you daily?!

Your charm and jokes were like no other! You had your way with every mother. I tried to copy your jokes but it's not as funny as how you said it. How could you have an inside joke with everyone?

I'm living the dream because of you. Are you watching?? You taught me everything. Still can't keep up with your charm and kindness! Wish i could spend one more clinic with you. I miss you daily and sometimes i'm tired of the stories. But trust me the stories are endless whether i want to hear them or not.

You were a superstar and thank you for everything you did for me! I'm just super grateful and i wish you'd see everything that's happening! It's exactly how you explained and more. Your legacy is immortal and will live forever!!

Thank you for inviting me to the Bexsero Experts summit for the launch of the new Meningitis B vaccine. Honored to be sitting with my professors and the best pediatricians around the country!

In Egypt we have been vaccinating Meningitis ACWY vaccine لقاح التهاب السحايا الرباعي 💉

Lately studies show that strain B (Europe and USA have been giving it for years) is rising in Egypt. "Bexsero" is now officially available. Ask your pediatrician about it 😊

Meningitis is a serious infection of the lining around the brain and spinal cord.
It can spread quickly and cause life-threatening complications, especially in babies and young children. Early protection with vaccines is the best way to keep your child safe. 🧠

شكرا على دعوتي لحضور مؤتمر خبراء بيكسيرو لإطلاق لقاح التهاب السحايا ب الجديد. فخور جداً إني قاعد وسط أساتذتي وأفضل أطباء الأطفال من كل أنحاء مصر!

في مصر كنا بندي لقاح التهاب السحايا الرباعي (ACWY) من زمان 💉

لكن مؤخراً، الدراسات بتبين إن السلالة B بدأت تزيد في مصر (وأوروبا وأمريكا بيستخدموا اللقاح ده بقالهم سنين). دلوقتي “بيكسيرو” بقى متوفر رسميًا. اسألي دكتور الأطفال عن اللقاح 😊

التهاب السحايا هو عدوى خطيرة في الغشاء اللي بيحيط بالمخ والنخاع الشوكي.
ممكن ينتشر بسرعة ويسبب مضاعفات خطيرة، خصوصاً عند الرضع والأطفال الصغيرين.
أحسن وسيلة للحماية هي التطعيم المبكر. 🧠
