سعدت و حدة الأورام و الطب النووي بجامعة قناة السويس و تحت اشراف الأستاذ الدكتور/سهير عبد المحسن مدير الوحدة باستقبال طلبة كلية الطب البشري من أعضاء لجنة الصحة الانجابية للجمعية العلمية لطلبة الطب البشري لجامعة قناة السويس,في يوم الأربعاء الموافق 28/11/2018 و ذلك في اطار أحد مراحل حملة التوعية التي يقومون بها عن سرطان الثدي و البروستاتا و الخصية و التي تهدف الي رفع الوعي عن عوامل الخطورة لهذه الأمراض و طرق الفحص المبكر و الأعراض الأولية لها.
و في خلال الزيارة و بمرافقة الأطباء المقيمين بالوحدة تفاعل الطلبة مع المرضي الموجودين بالوحدة سواء المصابين بالأمراض السابق ذكرها و الذين شاركوا تجاربهم الشخصية مع الطلبة و رحلتهم من مراحل الاكتشاف الي العلاج
أو المصابين بأمراض اخري و ذوييهم و الذين أظهروا اهتمام بالغ بسماع معلومات عن الأمراض الأخري....
و تعد حملات التوعية الخاصة بالسرطان من أهم الخطوات في رحلة العلاج و كيف أن اكتشاف الأمراض مبكرا يتيح للمريض فرصة كبيرة في خيارات علاج أكثر و يزيد من نسبة الشفاء الكامل.
وفي نهاية الزيارة قام الطلبة بجولة في وحدة علاج الأورام ( القسم الداخلي و مبني المعجل الخطي للعلاج الاشعاعي) والتعرف علي الخدمات العلاجية المختلفة التي تقدمها وحدة uالأورام و التي تشمل منطقة القناة بأكملها الي جانب العريش و سيناء الشمالية و الجنوبية و أطراف الشرقية و دمياط.
و هنا تبرز أهمية تكاتف أدوار مؤسسات المجتمع المدني المختلفة في تقديم المساعدة للقطاع الطبي و بالخاصة مرضي الأورام و مما تحمله رحلة علاجهم من احتياج لموارد كثيرة سواء مادية أو نفسية. و لعل أبرز مثال لهذا جمعية أصدقاء مرضي الأورام لمدن القناة و سيناء المشهرة لرقم 131 لسنة 2003 و التي تقدم خدماتها لوحدة الأورام.
Clinical Oncology and Nuclear Medicine unit was delighted to host medical students of The SCORA (Standing committee of reproductive health including HIV&AIDS) SCMSA (Suez Canal Medical students association) on Wednesday 28th of November 2018 as part of their awareness Campaign about breast, prostate and testicular Cancers which aims at spreading awareness about the risk factors, self-examination, early detection and alarming signs of such diseases.
Along with the Unit’s Residents, the students got the chance to talk to patients with previously mentioned cancers and her their real personal experiences about the disease from the diagnosis to treatment.
They talked to the Rest of the Patients and their relatives as well, who were so interested to know more about other cancers.
And such awareness Campaigns are as vital in the treatment plan of cancers as early detection plays a big role in increasing the patients overall survival as well as chances for more tolerable treatment options.
And the end of the visit, the students took a tour in our unit (inpatient department, radiotherapy) and was able to know the different services out units are offering for the patients. The Service which extends to cover the Suez Canal region, El-Arish, South and North Sinai, El Sharkeya and Dameitta.
And Such Conjoint Activities emphasizes the role of the coloration between different NGOs for improving the quality of the medical sector especially the one for the cancer patients which requires huge financial and psychological aid.
