Climate change( Heat stress) in pets animal (dog and cat)🐕😺🐈
تأثير التغيير المناخي وخصوصا الاحتباس الحراري علي حيوانات الاليفة..
Dogs and cats especially, they are:

1.older or overweight have thick coats.
2.have short snouts/flat faces (which restricts air flow and makes it harder for them to cool down).
الكلاب والقطط الأكثر عرضة للاحتباس الحراري :
كبيرة في السن ولديها زيادة في الوزن، وأنف قصيرة ووجوه مسطحة تقيد تدفق الهواء وتجعل من الصعب عليها أن تبرد.
Signs of Heat stress: علامات الإجهاد الحرارية
1.excessive panting اللهاث المفرط
2.erratic movements والحركات غير المنتظمة
3.drooling سيلان اللعاب
4.rapid pulse سرعة النبض
5.These symptoms can quickly escalate, leading to heat stroke and possible death.
ويمكن الأعراض تتطور بسرعة، تؤدي إلى ضربة شمس وموت محتمل.
Protection from Heat stress:📣📣

📯 In fact, it’s better to leave your dog inside home on a hot day, as long as they have a cool place to rest and plenty of water – perhaps even with ice cubes in it. And dogs love to cool off in a kiddie pool or under a sprinkler.
يفضل ترك كلبك داخل المنزل في يوم حار، طالما أن لديه مكانًا باردًا للراحة والكثير من الماء وحتي مع مكعبات الثلج تحت تبريد ف حمام السباحة او تحت الرش🛁.
📯 If you take your dog out on a hot day, carry a container of fresh, cool water for them. And don’t forget to slip-slop-slap: apply a sparing amount of pet sunscreen to your dogs’ exposed pink skin such as ear tips and nose.
وإذا كنت تأخذ كلبك للخارج في يوم حار ، احمل له وعاء من الماء البارد، ولا تنس أن تضع كمية قليلة من واقي الشمس للحيوانات الأليفة على الجلد الوردي المكشوف للكلاب مثل أطراف الأذن والأنف.
♦️Climate change and associated heat and floods is likely to aid the spread of parasites and illness including tick-borne diseases, flea infestations and heartworm. This puts both cats and dogs at risk.
من المرجح أن يساعد تغير المناخ والحرارة والفيضانات المرتبطة به على انتشار الطفيليات والأمراض بما في ذلك الأمراض التي تنقلها القراد ، وتفشي البراغيث والدودة القلبية، وهذا يعرض القطط والكلاب للخطر.
