Therapeutic programs in recovery sessions, whether used to activate the body, treat muscle spasms, after clinical sedation, or as a preventive and revitalizing measure, are so effective that they complement each other. Hot compresses work by separating fluids from the outer layers of the skin, moving them and the serum to the nearest lymphatic channel for drainage through sweat glands, the intestines, or the urinary system. Hot compresses also improve nerve function since the ideal temperature for nerves is usually the warmest.
Cupping works by moving fluids and stagnant blood caused by the rupture of peripheral capillaries to lymphatic pathways, from where the fluids are expelled through sweat and blood is released through urine or stool.
There are also other programs like dry cupping, sliding cupping, massage guns, Chinese tools, therapeutic massage, and therapeutic taping
