Stem Cell Research Scientific Club (ASU)

Stem Cell Research Scientific Club (ASU) Many students are attracted to certain themes in research among those is Stem cell research as one of the most promising field in regenerative medicine.

We decided to help students finding their interests in this area providing them with a structured prog the scientific club is proposed to work under the following scheme:



1- Seminars discussing the area of interests

2- research methodology training

3- workshops on different methods in this research theme

4- involving students in current researches.

5- reading and discussing different researches, textbooks, etc....


*Participants



Students who have just finished their 4th year,only Undergraduate students are accepted , recruitment of students in the club is based on their motivation and commitment


Application will be through the Student Union Scientific Committee website followed by an interview by faculty members



*Evaluation of the course



Through attendance(70%) and participation in discussion and home assignments ( 30 %)




*Stem cell club alumni



we will try to allocate different students in some labs to gain more experience and we ll ask them to provide us with feedback on the course to enhance it in the future

The club is opened only for Egyptian students,faculties of Medicine & Pharmacy all over Egypt!!

When we 1st started our scientific club,many of us didn't know each other,but we all shared 1 thing & that was that everyone of us had a dream,or a vision or an idea to use the stem cell to treat a certain refractory disease!!& that's the most important inclusion criteria that we decided for the new round in sha'ALLAH!The answer to 1 question:
How are you gonna use the stem cell therapy for??What are your ideas?? :D

*The whole project started as a dream of 2 students & el7amdullah we spoke to Mohammed Eltabbal,the head of the scientific committee of the SU!!
