🦋 “You don’t need fixing, your nervous system needs safety.” 🤍
I keep hearing this over and over again. Not just as a phrase floating around the wellness world lately, but as a genuine request from my own body.
It’s asking for a break from constant doing. For more stillness. More softness. In my yoga practice. In meditation. In the way I move through daily tasks. Even while sipping a coffee or writing an email ☕
I used to triple (sometimes quadruple) task without blinking. Now my body says, “Nope. I’m good. One step at a time. Easy does it.” 🌿
Just this morning I woke up to a message from a friend asking for support. She shared what was going on, where she felt challenged, and asked for my advice. And all I could feel was… there wasn’t actually anything wrong with her.
Her healing has brought her to a place where rest is required. Where honouring her body matters more than pushing through. Where her nervous system simply needs space to reset ✨
