The HAAK Community wishes to inform you that the HAAK women fundraising event has been adjourned.this decision come as we mourn the painful loss of former mayendit County commissioner major general James gatluak chuol jut.

Hundreds of mourners gothered at juba international airport to receive the body of the late major general James Gatluak Chuol Jut who passed on in India on the 12th January 2026
James Gatluak Chuol is one of the liberators who joined the liberation struggle at the early age he is also the father and the founder of.mayiandit county
His legacy will remain recognized by the people of mayiandit as well as the people of unity state at large
May God extend and comfort his immediate family and May his soul rest in peace

Dear relatives, family members, in-laws, friends, and the entire Haak Community, in Juba ,South Sudan
This is to formally inform you that the body of our beloved late Major Gen: James Gatluak Chuol Jut, who passed away in India, will be flown from India to Juba tomorrow. The arrival time at Juba International Airport is estimated to be 2:30 PM (South Sudan local time).

Arrangements have been made for transportation. Buses will be available to pick up mourners from Amadi and IDP camps to Juba International Airport at 11:30 AM.

We humbly call upon all relatives, friends, and community members to come and receive the body in unity, love, and solidarity as we pay our last respects.
