A proud moment for Egyptian interventional radiology!

We’re honored to share a successful prostate artery embolization (PAE) performed by Prof. أ.د / أسامة حتة—President of the Egyptian Society of Interventional Radiology using , a trusted embolic agent in minimally invasive procedures.

👨‍⚕ The patient, a 65-year-old gentleman, presented with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), experiencing weak urinary stream and nocturia. Pre-embolization, the prostate measured 90 cc. Just one month post-procedure, follow-up imaging revealed a dramatic reduction to 40 cc—an outstanding clinical result with significant symptom relief.

’s unique adhesive and embolic properties enabled precise, durable occlusion, making it an ideal choice for PAE. In this case, was mixed with Lipiodol at a ratio of 1:8, ensuring optimal viscosity and radiopacity for targeted delivery.
