Advanced Lipedema cases (Stage 3–4) often require a staged surgical approach rather than a single procedure.

Treatment may start with staged liposuction sessions to safely reduce diseased fat, followed by excisional procedures to address excess skin.
This can include thigh lift, leg lift, or combined techniques such as spiral thigh lift with belt lipectomy — depending on the severity of deformity and patient needs.

Medical photography is also essential for surgical planning, allowing surgeons to analyze deformities and design the most appropriate surgical approach.

In addition, these images contribute to education, research, and scientific publications, helping share knowledge and advance the field of plastic surgery.

التصوير في جراحات التجميل من أهم الأدوات في الممارسة اليومية

📸 أولًا: التوثيق (Documentation)
صور قبل وبعد العملية مهمة جدًا علشان نقدر نقارن النتيجة بدقة، لأن كتير من المرضى بينسوا شكلهم قبل الجراحة.

This approach is most effective in early stages of lipedema (Stage 1–2), where targeted liposuction techniques can reshape the legs while addressing the diseased fat.
Different anatomical zones are treated with specific strategies — combining superficial and deep liposuction with precise angles and controlled fat removal to achieve a more defined contour.

These concepts represent a new era in lipedema surgery: treating the disease while improving body contour at the same time.

من المفاهيم الحديثة في جراحات الليبيديما
هو تطبيق مبادئ High Definition أو Total Definer في نحت الفخذين والساقين أثناء علاج الليبيديما.
الأسلوب ده بيكون مناسب أكثر في المراحل المبكرة من المرض (Stage 1–2) حيث يمكن تقسيم الفخذين والساقين إلى zones مختلفة، وكل منطقة بيكون لها أسلوب علاج مختلف سواء شفط دهون سطحي أو عميق بزوايا وتقنيات دقيقة للحصول على نحت واضح ومتوازن.

Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD) is a form of anxiety disorder that can be seen in aesthetic practice.
Studies suggest that nearly 10% of patients visiting plastic surgery clinics may have features of BDD.

It is characterized by excessive preoccupation with a perceived defect often not noticeable to others, and sometimes not clinically present at all.

Recognizing BDD is essential.
Because not every concern requires a surgical solution — and not every patient benefits from the scalpel.

Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD)✨
هو نوع من اضطرابات القلق وبيظهر عند نسبة ملحوظة من مرضى جراحات التجميل (حوالي 10%).

المريض بيكون منشغل جدًا بعيب هو شايفه في جسمه مش شرط يكون واضح للطبيب ومش شرط يكون ملحوظ للناس اللي حواليه.

المهم إننا نعرف إن مش كل مشكلة حلها جراحة…
