15km PB today — but the numbers weren’t the most important part.
Rain lashing sideways, wind howling off the Southend seafront, legs heavy before I even started. But something in me needed this run — not just physically, but mentally.
Each step into the wind felt like pushing back against all the noise. The rain washed more than sweat off me — it cleared space in my head. Out there, it wasn’t about pace or distance. It was about realignment. Reconnecting. Breathing. Resetting.
We talk a lot about progress, but sometimes the real progress isn’t measured in minutes per km — it’s in showing up when your mind is cluttered and your heart is tired. Today, I showed up for myself.
Here’s to the runs that change more than our fitness. Here’s to the ones that bring us back to ourselves.

Day 32 | 32 km run 🏃‍♂️🧠

Started this journey with 1 km on Day 1…
Added 1 km each day.
Today was 32 km.
That brings the total to 528 km over 32 days.
Yeah — my legs are toast. But this was never just about running.

I’m doing this for Mental Health Awareness.

For everyone fighting silent battles.
For those who feel alone in their minds.
For the ones who smile in public and break down in private.
This is for you.

Every step has been a reminder:
You are stronger than you think.
You are never truly alone.
And you are more awesome than you realize.

Day 32 // 32km today — and the 500km mark is in sight!
☕🧠🚶‍♂️

Started this challenge with just 1km on Day 1, adding 1km each day. Today’s 32km will tip us over 500km total — a milestone that feels both surreal and powerful.

Physically: body feels good, knees a little tender, but feet are holding up.
Mentally: feeling strong, grounded, and grateful.

This journey is just as much about mental health as it is about physical endurance.
It’s about showing up every day, no matter how you feel. It’s about building resilience, leaning into discomfort, and creating space for conversations that matter.

Coffee and meditation to start the day, food incoming, and then we hit the road. Still no set finish line, and that’s okay — we’re here for the process, not just the destination.

Hey everyone,

What started as a personal challenge has turned into something much bigger.

We’re running 1km on Day 1, 2km on Day 2, 3km on Day 3… and today — Day 30 — we’re running 30km.

Tomorrow: 31km.
Day 60? That’s 60km.
We don’t know how far we’ll go — but we’re not planning to stop.

This challenge began as a test of mental and physical limits, but it’s become about something deeper: showing up every single day, even when it’s hard — especially when it’s hard.

Running has been a lifeline for us. It’s helped with grief, anxiety, burnout — all the stuff that doesn’t show on the outside. Now we’re running not just for ourselves, but for anyone who’s struggling silently and still showing up.

But here’s the hard truth: we’re almost out of money.
We’re doing this full-time and living as lean as possible, but with a job loss and cancelled boot camp, we’re at a point where finances might be the only thing that stops us.

That’s why we’re reaching out.

We’re asking for £2,500 — just enough to get us through the next 30 days:

Food (we’re burning up to 5,000 calories/day)
Medical tape, recovery gear, and physio support
Travel to running locations
Basic living so we can keep this going
It’s not about luxury — it’s about survival, so we can keep showing up and spreading the message:
You don’t have to be perfect. You just have to keep going.

We’re sharing the full journey — the highs, the pain, the honest truth behind the miles.

29 days down — 435 km in the legs.
This week: we’re pushing through Days 30 to 36 — another 231 km ahead.
If we finish it, we hit a massive milestone:

🔥 666 km in 36 days.
1 km added every day. No breaks. No shortcuts.
Just grit, movement, and purpose.
Over 40,000 steps a day — and to fuel it, you’ve gotta stay on top of recovery.
Cue the shake:
🥛 Milk + 3 raw eggs + honey. Old-school, simple, and packed.

🍳 What’s in the shake (approx):
Whole Milk (1 cup / 250ml)
~150 kcal | 8g protein | 12g carbs | 8g fat
Raw Eggs (3 large)
~210 kcal | 18g protein | 0g carbs | 15g fat
Honey (1 tbsp)
~64 kcal | 0g protein | 17g carbs | 0g fat
Total:
➡️ ~425 kcal
➡️ ~26g protein
➡️ ~29g carbs
➡️ ~23g fat

Clean fuel. No fluff. Helps recovery, hormone support, and long-range energy — especially after 25km+ days.
Some might flinch at raw eggs, but the body adapts — and sometimes, old-school works.

We started running for the challenge.
Now it's a daily ritual for mindset, strength, and mental clarity.
And we’re just getting started.

Day 28 – 28km done ✅Started this journey with just 1km on Day 1, adding 1km every day... That’s 406km in the legs so far.Today the abs were the main issue – slowed me right down near the end. Pretty sure yesterday’s faster pace caught up with me. But that’s part of the challenge.Now it’s 20 hours of sleep, meditation, and recovery before we take on 29km tomorrow.Honestly, the support online has been unbelievable – I appreciate every message, like, share and bit of encouragement. 🙏But more importantly – this is all for mental health.Someone in your life needs to hear how f***ing awesome they are. Don’t wait. Reach out and tell them.You might just change their day — or their life.
