🌍 Iceland adventure recap | April 2025
Glaciers. Volcanoes. Northern winds.
One van. One team. One unforgettable week.

From glacier hikes to lava fields, black sand beaches to helicopter flights over fire and ice — this was more than just a tour. This was a Hook Hiking expedition through the raw, untamed beauty of Iceland.

They say Vall de Núria isn’t just a place — it’s a passage between worlds. Covered in snow, wrapped in silence, it hides stories the mountains still whisper to those who walk alone.

🕯️ Long ago, a hermit named Saint Giles carved a wooden Virgin, hid it with a bell and a pot — then vanished. Centuries passed. The valley kept the secret under snow and stone… until the day the earth gave it back.

✨ But here’s what few know: women once came here in silence — to slide down a sacred stone, calling on the mountain’s ancient energy for fertility, strength, and renewal.

Even now, with every snowflake and gust of wind, you can feel it — a quiet force older than myths, moving between the peaks.

There’s nothing like the thrill of exploring the stunning mountain landscapes of Andorra, surrounded by good company. Every trail, every summit, every moment shared with fellow adventurers makes the experience even more special. The laughter, the camaraderie, the breathtaking views—this is what hiking is all about!

❄️ Winter Ascent of Puigmal 2910m with 🏔️

Real adventures begin where the comfort zone ends! Last week, our team took on one of the highest peaks in the Pyrenees — Puigmal (2910m) in full winter conditions. ❄️🥶

🌬️ Cold winds, snow-covered trails, and challenging terrain only fueled our determination. Step by step, we reached the summit, rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views and the pure sense of freedom that only the mountains can offer. 🏕️✨

⛏️ Safety always comes first in our adventures! With the right equipment, expert guidance, and a strong team spirit, we ensure every climb is both thrilling and secure.

🏔️ Mountains teach patience, resilience, and deep respect for nature. They also bring people together, and this climb was no exception! Huge thanks to everyone who joined this unforgettable adventure.
