Don’t be afraid of change, embrace it and prepare so you adapt well to it. 💪🏼

What does my bike have to do with this? I know my bike well, it’s gotten me through 6 8 and numerous more…but in order for me to keep adapting/improving I needed to get a new bike, get it fitted for me with a new position for better There is always a risk that new things come with unknowns. This can be an example for many things in life. Maybe changing a bike doesn’t seem that big of a deal but what if the new one is worse??? Or maybe just in the beginning, then it’s better once you figure out better the item. Just something to ponder and remember change is natural, it’s good and gonna come if you like it or not soooo !!!!!

2021 was an interesting year. is a fitting hashtag in my opinion. It was a crazy year with many changes in dates and hoops to jump through with travel….but hey I was able to compete in 3 Ironman races (Lanzarote, Portugal and Cozumel) The aguabike long distance world championships in Almere where I was able to place 7th and last but not least Challenge Salou 70.3 that turned into a because of crazy wind and water conditions. Was able to catch up with my brother from a different mother for 2 of the races. Always a pleasure to be racing with him. Then also had the pleasure of racing with friend and pro triathlete in Salou as he was able to fly 🏃🏼‍♂️💨 to the finish and win the race. Feels great to be back competing and looking forward to a great 2022 schedule 💪🏼 🏊🏼🚴🏼‍♂️🏃🏻‍♂️ thanks to all that supported me, cheered me on and wished me well! 🙏🏼

What a contrast...ending the year on a beach 🏝 and starting the year in the mountains 🏔 How fortunate to be up in the brisk air to clear the mind and recharge to start the year strong 💪🏼.

My year on 🏊🏻‍♂️ 🚴🏼‍♂️ 🏃🏻
An interesting year to say the least. I feel fortunate to be able to maintain a 5.5 days/week training average for the year and compete in 2 local races. I definitely did more climbing on the bike this year and will have to continue that for the following year because I have a full and challenging schedule for 2021, which includes 💪🏼👍🏼
Get ready to set some goals and break some records 🥳💥🎉 everyone!!!

Grateful to be able to get back in the pool with the lunch swim 🏊🏻‍♂️ group 😀 These guys help push me to be a better swimmer and to practice my Catalán 😅😅
