🩸🎹 The piano strings are an extension of my body: my tendons, my veins and the meridians of vital energy. There is a constant communication with the instrument and when we tune into that language, the songs come as if they were already written before, complete. The frenzies of the piano rebalance our whole being.

👂When I had tinnitus in 2019 my world fell apart. I had no peace in my mind and a lot of fear in my heart. I started a pretty strict habit change routine to heal myself and the songs on this album were the ones that embraced me for many months in that intimate process towards healing. I would go into hypnosis and feel hope. It was the most pleasurable 20 minutes of the day. I felt so grateful to have this tool in my hands, literally. We are so powerful. Thank you.

[ESP] Las cuerdas del piano son una extensión de mi cuerpo: mis tendones, mis venas y los meridianos de energía vital. Hay una comunicación constante con el instrumento y cuando sintonizamos ese lenguaje, las canciones vienen como si ya fueran escritas antes, completas. Las frencuencias del piano reequilibran todo nuestro ser.

Cuando tuve tinnitus en 2019 se me derrumbó el mundo. No tenía paz en mi mente y tenia mucho miedo en mi corazón. Empecé una rutina de cambio de hábito bastante estricta para sanarme y las canciones de este álbum fueron las que me abrazaron durante muchos meses en ese íntimo proceso hacia la sanacion. Entraba en hipnosis y sentía esperanza. Eran los 20 minutos mas placenteros del dia. Me sentía tan agradecida de tener esta herramienta entre mis manos, literal. Somos tan poderosos. Gracias.

👁 I always felt that my music was hypnotic because every time I finished giving a meditation I myself was in a very particular state: no thoughts and a feeling of deep peace, joy and presence.
Then I understood the effect that music had on me and on others: the piano is an instrument of healing.

[ESP] Siempre sentí que mi música era hipnótica porque cada vez que terminaba de dar una meditación yo misma quedaba en un estado muy particular: sin pensamientos y una sensación de profunda paz, alegría y presencia.
Ahí comprendí el efecto que tenia la música en mi y en los demás: el piano es un instrumento de sanacion.

⚡️8 of the 9 songs were born out of improvisation. Every time I did a meditation for a patient, I would record it on my phone and then take it back to transform it into a song. It was very difficult for me to give a beginning and an end to the songs, because my impulse was always to improvise in the meditations, to create the song according to where the music took me. But if I wanted to record an album I had to define a structure for each song and reproduce it in the same way in each take until I reached the best version. I had to define a beginning and an end....

[ESP] El resto de las canciones nacieron de la improvisación. Cada vez que hacía una meditación para algún paciente, la grababa en mi teléfono y después la retomaba para transformarla en canción. Me fue súper difícil darle un principio y final a las canciones, porque mi impulso fue siempre improvisar en las meditaciones , crear la canción según a donde me lleve la música. Pero si quería grabar un álbum tenía que definir una estructura para cada tema y reproducirla de la misma forma en cada toma hasta llegar a la mejor versión. Tenia que definir un principio y un final…

💿 Honestly I had no idea how many songs I needed to record an album, but by the time I said Yes to Ed, I must have had about 5 songs ready.

Cosmos was the first one I recorded, in 2015 in villa la angostura. A friend asked me to score a documentary about the reconstruction of a living roof in the village, where I participated with a group of friends. I had never composed a song of my own so it seemed kind of impossible to do it. But I accepted the challenge.

I remember that I put the video in front of the piano and started to play...finally I had composed a 9 minute song, the length of the mini documentary. It was magical.

[ESP] Honestamente yo no tenia ni idea cuantas canciones necesitaba para grabar un álbum, pero en el momento que le dije Si a Ed, habré tenido unas 5
canciones listas.

Cosmos fue la primera que grabé, en 2015 en villa la angostura. Un amigo me pidió que musicalizara un documental sobre la reconstrucción de un techo vivo en el pueblo,donde participé junto a un grupo de amigos. Yo nunca habia compuesto una canción mia asi que me parecia medio imposible hacerlo. Pero acepté el reto.

Recuerdo que puse el video frente al piano y comencé a tocar…finalmente había compuesto una canción de 9 minutos, lo que duraba el mini documental. Fue mágico.

✨The story behind this album is quite funny. I ran into Ed Bentley one sunday afternoon at Barceloneta beach and he casually said to me “Why don’t you release an album? You must have enough songs already! “ and I was like “wtf Ed!!😂 It seemed like SUCH a BIG THING to me…but he was so convinced that I said “yes, why not! I can have it ready for next winter!” And that is just what we did. We recorded the whole album in one day at Sol de Sants Studio here in Barcelona. 😱

[ESP] La historia detrás de este álbum es bastante divertida. Me encontré con Ed Bentley un domingo por la tarde en la playa de Barceloneta y me dijo casualmente "¿Por qué no sacas un disco? ¡Ya debes tener suficientes canciones! "y yo me quedé en plan "¡¡¡Wtf Ed!!😂 me parecía algo ENORME sacar un disco... pero él estaba tan convencido que le dije "¡sí, por qué no! Creo que lo puedo tener listo para el próximo invierno!". Y eso lo que sucedió, compuse las 9 canciones y las grabamos en el estudio Sol de Sants el 9 de febrero en Barcelona.

🌊 When I think of this song, it takes me back to the memory of Mar Azul, my dear Italian friend who travels the world with her harp ...
We met a few years ago at a spirituality congress in Villa La Angostura, Patagonia Argentina (the place I chose as my home for so many years). I was coordinating the selection of artists who would participate in the meeting and the music connected us.
One September afternoon in Barcelona in 2022, between chats and anecdotes, we sat down to sing and play the piano, when she said to me "Could you improvise a song thinking of Patagonia?" And so it happened.
I closed my eyes and began to see very clear images of the Patagonian forest, on the edge of the famous Nahuel Huapi lake, and the mental pictures were leading me to the Machete river. The lichens on the rocks, the water flowing down the waterfall, the majestic coihue trees rising up to the sky...
I surrendered to such immensity and burst into tears. A part of me is still completely connected to the mountains and will ever be. That's Patagonia..."

“¿Podrías improvisar una canción pensando en la Patagonia?” Y así sucedió.
Cerré los ojos y comencé a ver imágenes muy nítidas del bosque patagónico, al borde del famoso lago Nahuel Huapi y las fotos mentales me iban conduciendo hasta el río Machete. Los líquenes sobre las piedras, el agua que baja por la cascada, los majestuosos coihues alzándose hacia el cielo...
Me rendí ante tanta inmensidad y estallé en llanto. Una parte de mi sigue completamente conectada a ese lugar. Cuando eres de la montaña, nunca dejas de ser de la montaña. Así es la Patagonia...“
