Once again, the DOH Regulation, Licensing and Enforcement Division (RLED) team are on the move to ensure that Health Facilities are within the prescribed standards and requirements. They visited RHU BURGOS to monitor our Primary Care Facility, Clinical Laboratory, Birthing Center and Ambulatory Services.

Through continuous evaluation and oversight, authorities are able to identify gaps, implement improvements, mitigate risks, and ensure that the healthcare needs of the population are addressed in an effective and sustainable manner. This visitation ensures that our facility continues to uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance in delivering healthcare services.

We extend our gratitude to the RLED team for their guidance and support as we remain committed to providing safe, quality, and patient-centered care for our community.

A group of research students from Far Eastern University(FEU) Manila is taking a deep dive into the unseen threats facing our hardworking farmers. Their research focuses on identifying and understanding parasitic infections that commonly affect agricultural workers — an often-overlooked health issue in rural communities.

Through fieldwork, sample collection, and lab analysis, these students aim to contribute valuable data that could help improve public health interventions and promote better working conditions for farmers.

RHU Burgos headed by Dr. Maricel Salamida and Clinical Laboratory Staffs, Princess Dianne Banatao and Micah Joy Agtarap willingly approved their request to facilitate them in their study.

Kudos to these young researchers for using science to support our unsung heroes in agriculture!
