At Magic Mountain Retreat we offer a number of different courses which are aimed at helping you restore your body's balance while you escape the urban pressures, and relax in a tranquil hideout like no other. The fasting and detox retreats focus on cleansing the body, while the GI diet course is designed to enable you to integrate a new way of eating into your daily life, which will help keep the
body cleansed and less burdened in the long run. These courses are usually weekly (7 nights) and include daily session of morning exercises, and three 90-minute yoga sessions aimed at reducing stress levels. We also offers special yoga retreats aimed at both beginners and more advanced students who wish to develop their technique, and cooking courses for those who want to enjoy cooking and are keen to learn how to create healthy meals. The invigorating morning exercises, which are a part of every fasting, detox, GI diet and cooking course, are taught by Ute Wood who organizes and supervises the retreats at Magic Mountain. The routine has been found to be very successful in stimulating the body and awakening the senses for the day ahead. The exercises focus on breathing regulation, are easy to follow, and once learned are a great addition when you return to your normal daily life at home as they can even be compressed into a 10 minute routine. The number of guests at the retreat is limited to a maximum of 6 to ensure a personal and quiet atmosphere.
