My “hot hair” health hacks

Healthy, thick, lustrous hair truly comes from within and It’s so important to make sure you’re getting enough protein, and that your ferritin, iron, and B12 levels are optimal.

So let’s start from the inside out.

I take colostrum, about two to three grams a day, and collagen, at least 20 grams daily.

I make sure to eat meat, fish, or chicken, aiming for about 90–100 grams per day, spread over two to three meals.

I always take a high-dose multivitamin. My little hack is a plant-based prenatal, you don’t need to be pregnant or TTC....You actually get higher amounts of key vitamins and nutrients, and since we only absorb about 50% anyway, this honestly makes a huge difference. I love the plant-based ones from Garden of Life or Nature’s Plus.

I also take spirulina because it’s an amazing source of iron and is much gentler on the stomach, especially if you don’t tolerate iron supplements well. Beef liver pills wow game changer !!! , A B12 complex is essential, particularly if you have absorption issues..
and if that’s you, B12 shots are incredible, find someone who offers them.

Every day, I sip on bone broth, at least one full mug, and I drink a big raw vegetable juice... about one- two kilos of veggies daily and add 20 g of 🌱 protein powder to my smoothies.

Now for the outside.

I love Kérastase products and ouai, and I only wash my hair once a wee, YES ..just like the French ;) On wash day, I shampoo and use a mask, then apply a generous amount of the Kerastase night serum and leave it in, than get it styles at the salon the following day, so really my hair only needs to be particularly dried at the roots which means less heat styling and just the tong for my final waves

And that’s it…

Vibrant Health goals for me as a mom of 3, and turning 43 in March looks like;
Vitality, stamina, strength, rock solid abs, a snatched waist line, energy, elevated mood, motivation, balanced hormones, optimal blood levels, glowing skin, sharpness, clarity, a positive mindset, optimism, resilience, a sense of humour, inner joy and happy vibes. Of course with 3 little ones, I can be exhausted AF some days, and keep have to keep going but this is what glowing health looks like to me, not perfect every day but for the most part high vibe frequency from the inside out for true beauty from within.

Young, wild, and kid-free. Jet-setting, bottle-popping, and gallivanting like it was a personality trait…2016 antics.

After lunch; for nourishment and a mini reset; Rest, and do a mid day guided meditation for total mental alignment and a spiritual gym boost.

Evening; To relax and unwind from the day; A restorative skincare ritual, run a bath or hot shower to wash away any negativity.

Bedtime; Sleep Hygine; take PM supplements, reflect all the highlights of the day, journal out any worries or to do lists the next day, read something good for your soul before bed.

This year moved me….it held survival and joy at the same time...a mix of everything.
Some days asked more of me than I thought I had, and still, here I am….I made it, rode the waves and kept going.

I remembered who I was, reminded myself of what I’m proud of, the quiet wins, and the strength that didn’t need an audience. I reminded myself who showed up for me, and I allowed myself to see who didn’t. I reflected on what I’m ready to leave behind: old patterns, and versions of myself that no longer fit for the new year.
And I named what I want more of moving forward:
presence, creativity, rest, and honesty with myself.

As I step into what’s next, my priorities are clear.
My family and chosen “family”, my passion projects and optimal health.
This year taught me that I don’t need to rush, prove, or abandon myself to move forward.
I choose what lights me up, my joy my highest purpose
and trust that I know the way.
