Clean Air

Clean Air Full property chemical sanitising fogging, killing 99.9999%of viruses and bacteria . What does fogging kill that conventional cleaning doesn’t?

Many conventional cleaning products claim that they can kill 99.9% of germs. The truth is that, sadly, they do not kill as many germs as they lay claim to. In reality, this only amounts to approximately 3 or 4 bacteria on one surface. Fogging kills 99.9999% of bacteria, fungi and viruses. Conventional cleaning may kill the common cold or influenza virus, but it wouldn’t kill MRSA, which is what is known as antibiotic resistant bacteria, often present within healthcare settings. Fogging effectively kills all of these pathogens and more; we are happy to provide a full list upon request. Also, not all disinfectants are created equally, so may not all kill the same germs as each other. Some are not recommended for certain surfaces such as steel. Many cleaning products can irritate or cause allergies for your employees or customers, whereas fogging causes fewer allergic reactions and is safe for use on every surface, including electronics and fabrics. The biocide particles in the mist or fog are so small that they remain suspended in the air long enough to kill airborne viruses and bacteria. The biocide also eliminates pathogens on surfaces, including ceilings and walls as well as furniture and floors. An advantage with fogging is that the sanitising agent reaches areas that may be difficult to clean with other techniques. In most cases it’s not necessary to move furniture or equipment around before or during the fogging process. Whereas previously, the chemicals used in fogging could adversely affect materials such as plastic, fabrics and metal – causing corrosion over time – this is no longer a concern. The fogging process can take just a few minutes depending on the size of the area, although the treated area must be sealed-off for at least an hour or more after treatment to allow the mist to fully disperse.

Why book a fogging service?
With the current COVID-19 outbreak, never has it been a better time to make sure that your business, place of education or home is safe from all types of bacteria, fungi and viruses; not just now, but as an ongoing part of your regular cleaning routine.
Whilst wiping the surfaces over with a cloth is the option most of the population would turn to, the traditional cleaning method is only effective at getting rid of 11% of harmful bacteria and viruses. Wiping down surfaces can actually spread germs, especially when only one cloth is used to clean all surfaces!
Disinfectant fogging achieves a more sophisticated and thorough clean. Fogging uses a technology to break down the disinfectant into a tiny mist, which enables it to contact every nook and cranny in each room, as well as reaching any airborne bacteria or viruses. The disinfectant kills and bacteria, virus or fungus, it makes contact with within 60 seconds! This, combined with our current cleaning procedures, ensures a safer and cleaner area for our children, staff and families.

The Ministry of Health has made public the new coronavirus data by health departments and municipalities. These once again reflect the very delicate situation that exists in the Valencian Community and, especially, in the Marina Alta.

Coronavirus contagions from the January 12 update
The region once again breaks records and suddenly registers 700 new cases of coronavirus, unthinkable figures for a single health department of these characteristics a few weeks ago. The 1,362 cases currently active in the Marina Alta leave it with a soaring incidence of 793'05 infections per 100,000 inhabitants. In total there are already 4,696 positives since March.

Again the worst figure corresponds to deaths, having registered 15 new ones with coronavirus, 2 of them in Dénia, 5 in El Verger, 3 in Calp, one in Ondara, one in Xàbia, one in Teulada, one in Benissa, one in Orba and one to be determined.

The capital of the Marina Alta is once again the municipality that adds the most cases, also beating a historical record of new infections. For the first time it recorded in a single update more than 200 positives, being 238 the exact figure. Some numbers that demonstrate the worrying situation that Dénia faces.

The incidence of the regional capital exceeds 1,000 infections, something unheard of. To be exact, the almost 500 cases still active in the municipality leave it with a cumulative incidence of 1,133'61. Since March, 1,760 residents have tested positive.

In total, 21 of the 33 municipalities of the Marina Alta have added new cases, the majority seeing their incidence grow very alarmingly. Xàbia is the municipality that adds the most infections after Dénia, registering 146 new ones, Pego adds 51 new infections, Calp 44, Ondara 38, Benissa and Orba 37 each, Teulada 30, Pedreguer and El Verger 21, Gata 19, La Vall de Laguar 4, Els Poblets 3, Benidoleg, Parcent and Alcalalí 2, and Beniarbeig, Xaló, Llíber, Sanet and Ràfol one case each.

With the Coronavirus crisis continuing to impact across all walks of life, many professionals in all industries feel that the pandemic could have a more permanent effect on how we do things in the fight against COVID -19 virus .

What is Fogging?
Fogging, as the term suggests, uses disinfectant sprayed from a Fogging machine to create what looks like fog in the room. It is an effective way to disinfect high levels of horizontal surfaces, hard to reach areas that are often missed or forgotten and small, and confined spaces such as extractor units. It can also be effective at disinfecting vertical surfaces.
