🚴 In endurance racing such as cycling and triathlon, fueling is not just about intake. It’s about how much energy you can actually make available when it matters.
Traditional endurance fueling peaks around ~90g of carbs/hour. Effective and safe for most athletes, but in modern racing athletes are now pushing toward ~120g/hour ⚡, especially on the bike, by increasing fructose intake beyond conventional limits.
That’s why we built the Ultra Unit and Sports Unit as one system.
🔹 Sports Unit delivers 30g of carbs in a 2:1 glucose:fructose ratio: forming the foundation of endurance fueling.
🔹 Ultra Unit delivers 45g of carbs in a 1:1 glucose:fructose ratio: designed to increase fructose absorption and support higher intake rates.
By stacking 2 Ultra Units and 1 Sports Unit per hour, athletes can easily reach ~120g/hour in a structured way.
Result:
✅ improved gut tolerance at high intake levels
✅ higher carbohydrate availability under race intensity
✅ sustained power output deeper into the race
At this level, performance is no longer just about how much you take in. It’s about ex*****on. And that’s exactly what this Unit System is built for. Used in training. Refined for racing.
