Thank you for being a beacon of light and knowledge in our path. Thank you for shaping the way we understand vision, not only through science, but with humanity, presence and purpose.
Your teachings were never just clinical. They were an invitation to see people — truly see them — with the eyes of the heart. Your seminars showed us a new paradigm in optometry, but furthermore we learnt about live, how to be humble and proud, how to be brave and close, at the same time. You taught us that vision is connection, that optometry can change lives, and that generosity is a form of leadership.
SIODERV would simply not be what it is today without you. You lit the spark that built our association and you have always selflessly contributed your knowledge to make us stronger and more consistent with our principles. You’ve inspired generations of professionals, and many of us found our calling because of you. Being able to call you our Honorary Member is a privilege we will always treasure.
As we read your words, we feel both the ache of farewell and the beauty of a life fully lived — with courage, passion, and love.
We promise to keep your legacy alive and continue to walk the path you helped build. And we promise to keep Linda close in our hearts and community, always.

Desde lo más profundo de nuestro corazón y en nombre de toda la comunidad de SIODERV, GRACIAS.
Gracias por ser una luz y una fuente de sabiduría en nuestro camino. Gracias por haber transformado nuestra manera de entender la visión, no solo desde la ciencia, sino con humanidad, presencia y propósito.
Tus enseñanzas nunca fueron únicamente clínicas. Eran una invitación a ver a las personas —a verlas de verdad— con los ojos del corazón. Tus seminarios nos mostraron un nuevo paradigma en optometría, pero además aprendimos sobre la vida, sobre cómo ser humildes y orgullosos, valientes y cercanos al mismo tiempo. Nos enseñaste que la visión es conexión, que la optometría puede cambiar vidas, y que la generosidad también es una forma de liderazgo.
SIODERV no sería lo que es hoy sin ti. Tú encendiste la chispa que dio origen a nuestra asociación y siempre has compartido tu conocimiento con generosidad para hacernos más fuertes y más coherentes con nuestros principios. Has inspirado a generaciones de profesionales, y muchos de nosotros encontramos nuestra vocación gracias a ti. Poder llamarte Miembro de Honor es un privilegio que siempre llevaremos con orgullo.
Al leer tus palabras, sentimos a la vez la tristeza de la despedida y la belleza de una vida plenamente vivida —con coraje, pasión y amor.
