“For a long time, I’ve been following a fascinating phenomenon — the birth of an entirely new kind of medicine, fundamentally different, yet sprouting from the soil of modern medical science. I’ve seen these powerful young shoots in various places, but the brightest and most striking example of this ‘super-new’ medicine is the hero of this book — a doctor who has learned to heal almost everything. Because his approach to both the human being and the world they live in is completely different.”

Core areas of focus at Doctor Blum’s Center in Spain:
1. Health restoration for chronic conditions
2. Rehabilitation after severe injuries
3. Pediatric rehabilitation
4. Healing of complex conditions that are untreatable by conventional medicine or surgery
5. Recovery and career support for elite athletes
6. Treatment of conditions with unclear or undiagnosed origins
7. Comprehensive check-up using Professor Blum’s method — identifying the weakest links in your health

SHOULD YOU TAKE COLLAGEN TO IMPROVE CONNECTIVE TISSUE?

1. Connective tissue improves primarily through proper physical activity.
2. The body needs diverse, multidirectional movement that involves all segments and organs.
3. Consistency and a comfortable daily training routine are what make exercise truly effective.
4. Five short sessions of 5–10 minutes are more beneficial than one long 60-minute workout.
5. Walking or running should be the foundation of all physical activity. A minimum of 10,000 steps per day is essential — this is the true base for improving connective tissue.
6. You can take collagen if your body is truly lacking it — but here’s the real question: how will it be absorbed and incorporated into your connective tissue?
Without physical activity — it won’t.

According to various studies, children spend around 85% of their day sitting!
As a result, by school age, over 65% of children already show signs of flat feet, and 60% of older students experience posture issues. Circulation begins to suffer, leading to reduced concentration, lower cognitive performance, excess weight, diabetes, and weakened immunity.

Our children are growing up sitting — and this is becoming a global issue.
Lifestyles have changed dramatically: 90% of the population now works in sedentary professions. And children are growing up in cars, at school desks, during tutoring sessions, and in front of computer and phone screens.

The consequences of a sedentary lifestyle during childhood can become irreversible, because a child’s body is literally developing while sitting.

That’s why it is crucial to ensure daily physical activity throughout the school year, and to use school holidays for active recovery and health restoration.

At Professor Blum’s Center, we have developed specialized programs to reverse the effects of a sedentary lifestyle in children of all ages.

Over the course of a summer break, it’s possible to:
— Undo the harm accumulated during the school year
— Build up a solid reserve of health and energy for the year ahead

Each child receives a personalized program:
💎 Preventive, if there are no obvious signs of health issues yet
💎 Therapeutic, if there are already existing conditions or their consequences

The goal of our health, prevention, and treatment programs at Professor Blum’s Center is to raise the child’s level of health to its highest possible point during the critical stage of growth and development.

We aim to lay a strong foundation for life — to give children the resources they need to learn, move, and grow into the healthy, happy, and successful people we all want them to become.

Why It’s Important to Work Not Only with Your Mind, But Also with Your Muscles

The human body is unique and perfectly designed. Until the age of 20, a person can do almost anything with it, and the body will continue to serve — because during this time, it is still building up its potential: a reserve of vital energy to support growth and development. It’s what allows a helpless infant who can’t hold their head or walk to eventually become a fully grown adult capable of conceiving and giving birth to the next generation.

At this stage of life, physical exercise may seem unnecessary — the body generates energy on its own, and it feels like there’s always enough to go around: working, studying, staying out all night, and still functioning well the next day.

This is how nature designed us.
That’s why the first signs of energy deficiency often appear around age 35. This drop in energy marks the beginning of many future health issues — and it’s completely logical: constantly drawing from a resource without replenishing it inevitably leads to depletion.

This is especially true for business professionals, given today’s realities and the intense demands of their work. Little by little, symptoms begin to show — “here and there” — and start interfering with their usual routines.

That’s why those who prioritize their health come in for a full annual check-up at our Center.

EMOTIONS AND BURNOUT

Let’s take a closer look at the word “emotion”: E-motion, where “E” stands for energy (as in physics), and “motion” — movement (from Latin mōtio) — meaning the movement of energy.

At its root, an emotion is the movement of the soul from deep within the heart outward, expressed as an impulse or action.

Every movement or action in the body requires an energy resource.

➡️ The energy produced by the body is first and foremost used to sustain life — maintaining the function of organs and vital systems.
➡️ In cases of energy deficiency, the body “shuts down” less critical functions in order to conserve energy. Emotional and sensory experiences are among the first to be affected.
This is why, over time and with increasing energy deficit, a person no longer has the strength for emotions, feelings, or reactions.
➡️ What we often call a lack of emotions or emotional burnout is more accurately described as an energy deficit.

Symptoms of emotional burnout include:
— Feeling chronically tired and depleted, even after long periods of rest
— Signs of neurosis, dystonia, or even depression and apathy, sometimes escalating into bouts of anger or aggression without clear cause
— Decreased efficiency and performance, leading to a total loss of interest in work and life

Common causes of energy deficit:
— Chronic illnesses
— Post-viral conditions
— Chronic stress

People respond differently to energetic depletion. Our goal is to patch the “holes” that led to energy loss and restore balance in both energy generation and distribution.

At Doctor Blum’s Center in Spain, we’ll create your personalized program:
“From Burnout to Balance.”
