💗 Egg White & Psyllium Husk Wrap (1 large or 2 small wraps)
Ingredients:
3 egg whites
1 tbsp psyllium husk (whole husks, not powder)
50 ml (about ¼ cup) water or plant-based milk
A pinch of salt.
Fry in olive oil or MCT-oil
Optional: herbs or spices for flavor (e.g., oregano, paprika)
Instructions:
Mix egg whites, water, and psyllium husk in a bowl. Whisk quickly with a fork until it starts to thicken. Let sit for 2–3 minutes so the husk can absorb the liquid.
Heat a frying pan over medium heat.
Pour the mixture into the pan and spread it out thinly into a round shape.
Cook slowly for about 2–3 minutes on each side until dry and flexible.
Cool on a rack to keep it soft.
Fill with your choice of ingredients – e.g., chicken and veggies, hummus and salad, or scrambled eggs and spinach.
Tip: For extra softness, add 1 tsp olive oil to the batter.
