(Or maybe Part 3… time is a flat circle these days 🤷‍♀️😂)

You open the fridge and stare inside like it’s going to reveal life’s meaning.

You walk into a room with purpose… then immediately forget why you’re there.

You now travel everywhere with a cardigan, a water bottle, AND a fan just in case.

Your memory has two settings: crystal clear or 404: File Not Found.

One minute you’re fine. The next minute you’re crying because your toast broke.

Your favourite hobby is sitting down.

Sleep? She comes and goes as she pleases.

Someone has clearly left the heater on… everywhere.

Your bathroom scales are definitely broken. Definitely.

Your kids must be sneaking their clothes into your wardrobe everything is suspiciously tight.

Is it the washing powder or are your armpits having a personality crisis?

Oh look… you’re wide awake and it’s still dark outside.

Why does everyone else think you’re the moody one?

Did we already say this one? Probably.

🌸 Homemade Granola
The Changing Room™ Way
Reposting because you ladies keep asking for it! 💛

If you enjoy granola but don’t fancy the added sugars or mystery ingredients in shop-bought versions…
Here’s a simple, delicious recipe straight from my own kitchen.

Making your own means:
✨ You control the ingredients
✨ You save money
✨ You get that perfect crunchy cluster every time

🥣 Gluten-Free, Sugar-Free Granola (15 servings)
1 portion = approx. 50g

Ingredients
150g whole almonds
100g walnut halves
100g pecans
90g coconut flakes (or desiccated coconut)
65g pumpkin seeds
65g sunflower seeds
40g milled flax seeds
80g almond butter
4 tbsp freeze-dried raspberries
1 tbsp granulated sweetener (optional – erythritol gives the best crunch)
1 tsp vanilla extract (check it’s sugar-free)
1–2 tbsp water

Method
1️⃣ Preheat your oven to 150°C / 300°F
2️⃣ Pulse the nuts in a food processor: not too fine! You want a mix of small + larger bits.
3️⃣ Repeat with pumpkin and sunflower seeds.
4️⃣ In a large bowl, mix together all nuts, seeds, coconut, flaxseed, almond butter and water.
5️⃣ Stir in sweetener, vanilla and freeze-dried raspberries.
6️⃣ Press the mixture firmly onto a lined baking tray.
7️⃣ Bake for 30 minutes until golden, crunchy and dry.
8️⃣ Cool completely, then break into clusters. Store airtight.

Serving ideas:
💛 With Greek yoghurt and berries
💛 With unsweetened almond, coconut or hazelnut milk
💛 As a sprinkle on pancakes or fruit bowls

Sometimes we reach for a crunchy snack thinking it’s a healthier option… only to discover it’s not quite what we expected.

Many packaged vegetable crisps sound nutritious, but because they’re made from very thin slices and usually fried in oil, they often end up being similar to regular crisps in terms of ingredients and how moreish they can feel.

If you enjoy a good crunch (I certainly do!), there are plenty of simple homemade alternatives that feel more nourishing and satisfying.
Here’s one of my favourites:

🧀✨ Easy Parmesan Seed Crisps

Perfect with a Caesar salad or as a crunchy little snack.

Ingredients:
• 5 tbsp grated parmesan
• 1 tbsp chia seeds
• 1 tbsp flaxseed
• 1 tbsp pumpkin or sunflower seeds

Method:

Preheat oven to 180°C / 350°F.

Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

Mix cheese + seeds in a bowl.

Spoon small mounds onto the tray, leaving space between them.

Bake 8–10 minutes, checking often they should be lightly golden, not dark.

Cool before lifting off the paper.

This recipe makes around 8–10 crisps, and they’re deliciously crunchy.

Diary of a Midlife Woman Called Julie
(Names changed… but the feelings might feel familiar to many of us.)

Friday 13th

Today I’m talking about Julie.
Julie is a midlife woman navigating the wild ride that is menopause.

One minute she feels fabulous, the next she’s wondering why she walked into the kitchen… and why the kettle is in the fridge.
Julie wakes up tired, goes to bed tired, and somehow still manages to be wide awake at 3am thinking about scatter cushions.

Her moods are… shall we say… “creative.”
Not wrong. Not bad. Just… enthusiastic.

She plucks, she moisturises, she breathes deeply at least eight times a day.
Julie is doing her absolute best — even when she feels a bit invisible, a bit overwhelmed, or a bit “who even am I anymore?”

She loves her family, even when they put the cushions in the wrong order.
She has dreams, even if some involve Greece and a very quiet beach.
She laughs, she cries, she sighs, she rallies.

And like many women, Julie reached a moment where she thought:
“I need something for me.”

So she joined one of our Hypno-Sculpting Intro Classes — not to “fix herself,” but to understand what her mind and body were trying to tell her.
She found community.
She found calm.
She found a few new habits that made life feel a little softer, a little lighter, and a lot more manageable.

Julie isn’t chasing perfection.
She’s rediscovering herself — slowly, gently, in her own way.
And that’s enough. 💛

As I’ve moved through midlife, I’ve become much more interested in simple, natural ways to care for my skin especially around the eyes, where things can feel a little more delicate.

One of my favourite soothing rituals is a gentle green tea or chamomile eye compress.
It feels calming, cooling, and gives the eyes a refreshed, rested look perfect for a quiet moment of self-care.

Here’s how to make them:

🌿 Ingredients

• 2 green tea bags or chamomile tea bags
• 1 cup hot water
• A drop or two of Vitamin E oil (optional)

🌿 Method

1. Steep the tea bags
Place the tea bags in a cup of hot water and let them steep for 3–5 minutes so they’re nice and concentrated.

2. Cool them down
Remove the bags and let them cool, or pop them in the fridge for 10–15 minutes for a refreshing chill.

3. Optional add Vitamin E
If you like, add a little Vitamin E oil to the bags and gently squeeze so it spreads through the fabric.

4. Relax & apply
Lie back, place one tea bag over each closed eye, and rest for around 15 minutes.
(It’s a perfect moment to put on your favourite hypnotic audio and drift away.)

5. Finish up
Remove the bags, gently pat the skin dry, and apply a light moisturiser or a dab of rosehip oil.

A small ritual, but a lovely one. 🌿✨
