Yes. COVID-19 vaccines may be given at the same time, or at any time before or after other vaccines, including the flu vaccine.

Concomitant administration should be considered in particular for priority groups for vaccination against both COVID-19 and flu, such as:

- older adults (aged 60+)
- pregnant women
- people who are immunocompromised or have other health conditions.

The recommendation for priority groups to receive an additional booster dose applies to the situation as of fall 2023. There is insufficient evidence to conclude that annual boosters will be needed in the long-term. WHO continues to monitor the epidemiological and virological situation and update its recommendations accordingly.

An additional booster is not recommended at this time for healthy adults aged 18 to 59, because:

severe disease in this group is far less frequent than among older adults or people with comorbidities;
three years into the COVID-19 pandemic, a high proportion of the population around the world has developed some level of immunity from vaccination and/or infection.
