🧘♀️ About the Course
This introductory course is designed to help you explore and understand the foundations of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and the transformative practice of Yoga Nidra.
✨ Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga
A dynamic style of yoga rooted in the teachings of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois (Mysore, India). Its foundations lie in Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, where yoga is described as an eight-limbed path guiding practitioners toward harmony of body, mind, and soul.
🌿 The 8 Limbs of Yoga (Ashtanga)
Yama – ethical principles: non-violence, truthfulness, non-stealing, moderation, non-attachment
Niyama – personal discipline: purity, contentment, self-discipline, study, surrender
Asana – physical postures for strength, balance, and flexibility
Pranayama – conscious breathing, expansion of vital energy
Pratyahara – withdrawal of the senses, turning inward
Dharana – concentration, steadying the mind
Dhyana – meditation, cultivating awareness and presence
Samadhi – union, inner peace, connection with the divine
🌸 Benefits for Body & Soul
Physical health: strength, flexibility, vitality, improved posture, stronger immunity
Mental health: clarity, focus, reduced stress, emotional balance
Spiritual growth: self-awareness, inner calm, deeper connection with your essence.
🌙 Yoga Nidra
The course also includes Yoga Nidra, a guided practice of deep relaxation, often called “yogic sleep.” The body rests while the mind stays awake and receptive, allowing profound release, regeneration, and peace.
