The best anti-inflammatory oils to use in your cooking, to consume on a regular basis & to keep in mind for ingredients lists on your food labels!!
• extra virgin olive oil (cold-pressed is best)
personally love, .guzman, anything in a dark opaque bottle, that has a harvest date as well. typically best for medium to low heat cooking or use as a topper. graza has one that is for high heat called sizzle & frizzle!
• grass-fed organic ghee or full fat butter. If you're making your own ghee out of butter sticks, make sure it's full fat, organic, pasture raised, and grass fed butter. this is meant for high heat cooking.
• avocado oil
for high heat cooking
• virgin unrefined coconut oil or refined coconut oil
unrefined & virgin mean the same thing. It means there is no extra processing of the oil and still tastes like coconut. Refined doesn't taste like coconut. these are high heat oils, great for frying or high heat cooking. I like for coconut oil.
Avoid these oils for consumption as much as possible to reduce inflammation & also for less free radicals in your body!!

• soybean oil
• corn oil
• peanut oil
• rice bran oil
• safflower oil
• vegetable oil
• grapeseed oil
• cotton seed oil
Basically anything that is not on the approved list above. The thing with "bad" oils is that they oxidize very quickly when heated which creates free radicals & forms toxic byproducts, which then can lead to inflammation in the body.
