Beneath that fear is the fear that if I am just me - showing up as is- that it won’t be enough. Whatever enough means.
Or that I’ll get it wrong. Whatever wrong means.

A simple reframe like this one makes the next step that much easier to action.

Just show up “Voetstoots”
(As is. With all latent and patent defects)
be you.
no chatGPT spell check.
no clever hook.
Just what’s on your mind.

Maybe it works out better than expected.

Your Food Freedom Formula ⬇️⬇️

There are five main reasons we overeat :
1. Diets
2. Exhaustion/Overwork
3. Critical Self-Talk
4. Pushing Our Emotions Down With Food
5. Habit

To stop overeating and feel in control with food again, you need to…

1. RECONNECT – Ditch diets & eat for hunger again.
2. REST – Relax and have fun again.
3. RETHINK – Be kind to your mind.
4. RELEASE & REGULATE – Feel your emotions instead of "eating your feelings."
5. REWIRE – Break the time/place habit loops.

And we need to practice these five things repeatedly because...

🔁 Repetition is the mother of skill.
And...
🔁 Practice makes permanent.

And that takes time.

I wish it were simpler.
I wish it were faster.
I wish there were a quick fix.

But overeating is messy, complicated, and takes time to change.

That said, you may be astonished by how much can change in just one year—even after decades of overeating.

And when you really think about it... if you could undo decades of yo-yo dieting, emotional eating, and body shame in a year or less… that’d actually be SUPER QUICK, all things considered. 🔥

Right?

It’s time to play the long game.
