WARM STEWED APPLE 🍎

I love warm apple! It feels super good to my belly and is easy to digest. I always take this breakfast when I am less hungry in the morning or feel bloated. The combination of the spices, warmth and the apple help to stoke your agni (digestive fire). Are you going to try this your next morning? 🌅

🌿Ingredients:

- 1 apple
- 1 tsp raisins
- 1 tbsp of flaxseed
- 1 tsp of ghee or coconutoil
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground cardamom
- A pinch of ground ginger (or freshly grated)
- A small pinch of turmeric
- A little bit of lemon zest
- 1–2 tbsp warm water

🤎Garnish:

- Roasted pumpkin seed
- Optional: I added a bit of pure dark chocolate 🤭

👩🏼‍🍳How to make:

- Chop the apple into small cubes.
- Heat the ghee/coconut oil in a small saucepan over low heat.
- Add the spices: cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, and turmeric. Let them warm about 30 seconds.
- Add the apple pieces and mix them with the spices.
- Add the raisins and lemon zest.
- Add 1–2 (30 ml) tablespoons of warm water and cover the pan with a lid.
- Let the apple simmer gently for about 8 minutes, until soft but not mushy.
- Put in a bowl and add your garnish.

Spring is almost here and this means that Kapha melts. This can lead to tiredness, heaviness, low immune, excess mucus, stubborn weight and slow digestion. It's time to refresh your body and restore balance!

✨ Tips to Reduce Kapha:
✅ Do a Kitchari cleanse (Ayurveda reset) to give digestion a boost

Kapha is the dosha of earth & water, bringing stability, strength, and calmness. People with a dominant Kapha tend to be grounded, caring, a connector and strong build, but when out of balance, they may feel sluggish, heavy, or unmotivated.
Kapha thrives on warm, light foods, movement, and new experiences to stay energized and balanced. Think warming/ stimulating spices, activity, and variety to keep Kapha in flow! 🌻

✨ Golden Banana Pancakes ✨ 🍌🥞

Fluffy banana pancakes with kurkuma! 💛 Perfect for a nourishing breakfast or snack.

🔸 Ingredients:
2 eggs
1 ripe Banana
50 g buckwheat / oat flower
1 teaspoon cinnamon
0,5 teaspoon cardamon
A pinch of kurkuma from
A pinch of black pepper
Ghee / coconut oil for baking 🥥

🔸 Instructions:
1. Mash the banana and mix with all ingredients until smooth.
2. Heat a pan with oil and spoon in the batter.
3. Cook on medium heat for 2-3 min per side until golden.
4. Serve with nuts or some honey!

These pancakes are warming, easy to digest, and perfect for balancing Vata & Kapha dosha! 🌿✨

Your body is unique— Ayurveda says there is no one size fits all! ✨🌿

This system sees everyone as an individual. While we all have genes, our genetic makeup is different.

Everything in the universe consists of five elements: 🌬️ ether, 💨 air, 🔥 fire, 💧 water, and 🌱 earth. These elements exist in your body too, but in different proportions. This combination is called Dosha, meaning constitution. The three doshas are Vata, Pitta & Kapha. You have all three, but usually, one or two are more dominant.

Your original dosha (Prakriti) is your natural blueprint, but your current state (Vikriti) shows imbalances.

By understanding both, you can make the right lifestyle and diet choices for your body while keeping your digestive system healthy! 🌿✨

Your dosha influences your body type, personality & health tendencies. You can take a dosha test, but keep in mind it often reflects your imbalance (Vikriti), not your original state. For a deeper understanding, consult an Ayurvedic practitioner!

What a year!

I want to thank everyone who has contributed to my journey of building my Ayurveda platform! I am definitely at the start of creating my Ayurveda community, but I can proudly say that this year has been an incredible beginning! 🦋

From Ayurveda resets and recipe development to finishing my own handmade book with Ayurvedic recipes and an introduction to this practice—it was super scary to start but WOW it has been an amazing journey. 🍐

And lets not forget my step of moving to Valencia which has given me so much. ✨

You may have noticed that I haven’t been as active here lately. I needed some time to reflect on the direction I want to take with Ayurveda. A lot of changes and decisions have been made. Right now, I’m in the middle of my (Ayurvedic) studies in digestive health and nutrition, which I hope will enable me to help many people.

In 2025, alongside my new Ayurveda projects, I will, of course, continue with Ayurveda resets, recipes, tips, and much more!
