Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers affecting women worldwide. Among its different types, Triple‑Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) is a form that does not express estrogen receptors, progesterone receptors, or HER2. ደም ማነስ የምንለው ጤናማ ቀይ የደም ሴል ማነስ ነው። ቀይ የደም ሴሎች ኦክስጅንን በሰውነታችን ውስጥ የሚያሰራጩ ህዋሶች ስሆኑ ይህንን ለማድረግ አይረን የሚባል ንጥረ ነገር ይጠቀማሉ ።

የአይረን እጥረትን ለማወቅ ደግሞ የተሟላ የአይረን ፓነል ምርመራ ይመከራል ይህም የሚከተሉትን ያጠቃልላል ።

What is Neonatal Jaundice?

Neonatal jaundice is a common condition in newborns that causes yellowing of the skin and eyes due to elevated bilirubin levels in the blood.

It often appears within the first few days of life and, in many cases, resolves on its own. However, very high bilirubin levels can be harmful if not monitored properly.

Causes may include:
• Immature liver function
• Blood group incompatibility
• Prematurity

Available Investigations at ONCO Advanced Diagnostic Center:

• Total, Direct & Indirect Bilirubin
• Blood Group & Rh Typing (Mother and Baby)
• Direct and Indirect Coombs Test
• Complete Blood Count (CBC)
• Reticulocyte Count

ONCO Advanced Diagnostic Center had the opportunity to engage with the Operating Room (OR) team at Yekatit 12 Hospital Medical College during their fumigation day, focusing on proper biopsy sample handling and safe specimen transport.

As part of our commitment to strengthening quality standards, biopsy sample buckets with buffered formalin were donated to support safe and proper specimen handling. The session highlighted infection prevention, correct labeling and transport protocols, and the critical role of proper handling in ensuring accurate and reliable diagnostic results.

We appreciate the OR team’s dedication to maintaining high standards of surgical and patient care.
