የዝንጀሮ ፈንጣጣ (MonkeyPox)
በሽታ የሚከሰተው ሞንኪፖክስ በተባለ ቫይረስ አማካኝነት ሲሆን፣ ይህም ጉዳቱ ዝቅተኛ ከሆነው የፈንጣጣ ቫይረስ ቡድን ውስጥ የሚመደብ ነው።

የበሽታው ምልክቶች
የበሽታው ምልክቶች መታየት የሚጀምሩት አንድ ሰው ለቫይረሱ ከተጋለጠ ከ5-21 ቀን በኋላ ሲሆን÷ አንዳንዴ በቶሎ ወይም ሌላ ጊዜ ዘግየት ብሎ ሊጀምር ይችላሉ።
ምልክቶቹም
• ትኩሳት፣ ራስ ምታት፣ የእጢ እብጠት፣ የመገጣጠሚያ ህመምና ድካም ፣ ቆዳ ላይ የሚወጣ ቁስል (ሽፍታ) ዋነኛ መገለጫው ነው።
• የቆዳ ምልክቶቹ መጀመሪያ ላይ ጠፍጣፋ ቀላ ያለ ሽፍታ ሆኖ ይጀምርና ከዚያ አብጦ ፈሳሽ ይቋጥራል፤ በመቀጠልም ይፈርጥና ይቆስላል።
• ቁስሉ ሲቆይ ይደርቅና ተቀርፎ ይወድቅና በቦታው አዲስ ቆዳ ይተካል።
• ይህ ቁስል በፊት ላይ፣ በአፍ ውስጥ እና እንደ እጆች፣ እግር፣ ደረት፣ የመራቢያ አካላት ወይም ፊንጢጣ ያሉ ሌሎች የአካል ክፍሎች ላይ ሊወጣ ይችላል።

እንዴት ይተላለፋል?
• በበሽታው የተያዘ ሰው የተጠቀመባቸው አልባሳት መንካት
• በበሽታው የተያዘ ሰውን ቁስል መንካት
• በበሽታው የተያዘ ሰው አካላዊ ፈሳሽ የሚኖር ንክኪ

ሊታከም የሚችል ነው?
አዎ። አብዛኛዎቹ በበሽታ ተጠቂዎች ከ2-4 ሳምንታት ውስጥ በራሳቸው ይድናሉ። ከባድ በበሽታ ተጠቂዎች በTecovirimat (TPOXX) ሊታከሙ ይችላሉ።
ከላይ የተጠቀሱትን ምልክቶች የሚያሳይ ማንኛዉም ሰዉ በሚገኝበት ጊዜ በአቅራቢያ ወደሚገኝ የጤና ተቋም ሪፖርት እንዲያደርግ ወይም በ952 እና 8335 ነጻ የስልክ መስመር ጥቆማ ማድረግ ይጠበቅበታል።
