Are you planning to travel long distance soon? Whether it's for work or leisure, traveling can take a toll on your health if you don't take some precautions. Here are some health tips to follow when you're on the road or in the air:

- Stay hydrated. Drink plenty of water before, during and after your trip. Avoid alcohol and caffeine, which can dehydrate you and disrupt your sleep cycle.
- Eat well. Choose healthy snacks and meals that are rich in protein, fiber and vitamins. Avoid junk food, sugary drinks and processed foods that can make you feel sluggish and bloated.
- Move around. Stretch your legs and arms every hour or so, especially if you're sitting for a long time. Walk around the airport or the train station, or do some simple exercises in your seat. This can help prevent blood clots, muscle stiffness and fatigue.

Psoriasis is a chronic autoimmune condition that causes the rapid buildup of your skin cells. This leads to scaling, inflammation and redness on your skin. Psoriasis can affect any part of your body, but it is more common on the elbows, knees, scalp and nails. Psoriasis has no cure, but it can be managed with lifestyle changes and medications.

Some of the possible causes and triggers of psoriasis include genetic factors, infections, injuries, stress, obesity, smoking, alcohol abuse and certain medications. Psoriasis can also increase your risk of developing other health problems, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease and depression. Therefore, it is important to consult your healthcare provider if you have psoriasis or suspect that you may have it.

There are different types of psoriasis, each with its own symptoms and treatments. The most common type is plaque psoriasis, which causes red or purple patches with silvery scales on your skin.
