✨Dejen G/meskel Import and Export was honored to participate in the Symposium on the 9th China International Import Expo (CIIE) Promotion and the 9th Hongqiao International Economic Forum (HQF) Consultation Program, held at the African Union on April 21, 2026, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

💠The symposium was hosted by the China International Import Expo Bureau and the Hongqiao International Economic Forum Secretariat, in coordination with the Mission of China to the African Union and the Embassy of China to Ethiopia. The event brought together distinguished representatives from various institutions, including the Chinese Ambassador’s office, ICBC China, Africa Standard Bank, and the Addis Ababa Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Associations.

💠The program focused on briefing and inviting exhibitors to the upcoming 9th China International Import Expo (CIIE), scheduled for November 5–10, 2026, in Shanghai, China. It highlighted the growing opportunities between China and Africa for importers and exporters, including enhanced buyer-exhibitor matchmaking, stronger visitor engagement, impactful brand promotion, and closer collaboration between government and industry for long-term business relationships.

We also had the privilege of hearing insightful presentations from distinguished speakers, including:
