Ethiopian Airlines is set to construct Africa's largest airport near Bishoftu in Ethiopia 🇪🇹.

Recently the Airline and African Development Bank Group recently signed a $7.8B funding deal to fund the project.

The new facility will have 4 runways, handling capacity of 100 million passengers per year and an Aircraft Parking Capacity of 270 aircrafts.

The project is set to be completed by 2029, positioning Ethiopia and Eastern Africa as Africa's Aviation Hub.

The purity of the black seed can also have an impact on the quality of the black seed oil that is pressed. Huge amounts of mixed dry flower petals, dry branches, dust, and other debris are typically produced when seeds are harvested from the fields. With Gateframs we are always free from any additives, no added oils, flavors, colors, preservatives, etc. Seed are machine cleaned to meet puritty level of 99.5% and above.

The Ethiopian Variety

Ethiopia is located around the tropical region, thus, the weather makes a suitable environment for the growth of black seed. The oil which is a natural antioxidants source thanks to the presence of thymoquinone and several phytosterols, responsible also for the lenitive and emollient effects.

The Ethiopian variety of black seed accumulate up to 50% thymol, a monocyclic phenolic compound. The presence of this compound makes cumin valuable source for health care industry and medicinal purposes.

However, it can be said that the higher thymoquinone value in Ethiopian black seed oil will also give higher opportunity to be used in the medicinal and cosmetics industry.
