Ancients Of Days Established in 2007, Ancient of Days is a care and welfare service for migrated Rastafari elders who live in Shashemene, or elsewhere in Ethiopia.

ANCIENTS OF DAYS PROJECT is a care and welfare service for the repatriated Rastafari Elders who live on the Shashemene Land Grant, or elsewhere in Ethiopia. This project, began in September 2007, with 15 Elders (aged 60 and above). However, we quickly realized the need to ensure that our Elders are fed, clothed, housed and receive preventive medical care and social interaction on an ongoing basis.

The project covers the expenses (treatment, prescriptions, wages, transportation, basic necessities), for all of the fallowing activities and outputs: * Full medical check-ups annually and as necessary at appropriate medical and health care facilities * Medical care profiles and individual health care plans * Home care provided by community carers * Specific care issues including palliative care * Providing food and other daily needs * Social activities involving the whole community
