On behalf of Adama General Hospital & Medical College , we would like to officially announce the passing away of our renowned Artist Dr. Ali Birra Alii Birraa. We are deeply saddened and would like to pass our condolences to his family, his fans and the entire nation.

As its known, Dr. Ali Birra was undergoing treatment at our institution for the past month.

It is with an honor to announce our Minimal Invasive Surgery Department at Adama General Hospital & Medical College has successfully performed the first esophageal stent placement across the region.

Esophageal stent procedure, a tube is placed in your esophagus (throat) to keep a blocked area open. The tube helps you swallow solids and liquids.

AGHMC family, we would like you to know this service is being given on full time basis aided with our advanced German made Karl Storz endoscopic tower and by Dr Birhani Reda(MD, Consultant General Surgeon, endoscopic surgeon subspecialist ), the only service accessible in the region with minimal & affordable price.
