Dream,Work,Purpose !!

My 8 year old son came home with a "diamond." From school and this is the second time.

He opened his hand to show me and said "Mommy look what I found, Checking i found it's pink."(pink??)
Me smiling because I wanted to laugh, one thing about being a parent? You have to pretend like you are proud even when you are not.
Then he said "No don't worry, you can pay me bit by bit."
Bit by bit? Like seriously?

I think it’s time to make things clear between us , he should decide if he wants to go to School or work at the mine. I honestly cannot help him with his diamond business.😭
