Can your little reader hear the hidden blocks in a word? 🧩 In our last session, we turned into Sound Detectives! I spelled out words letter-by-letter (like S-U-N), and the students had to rely purely on their auditory skills to blend the sounds and hunt down the matching object in the room. 🕵️‍♂️✨

Building strong auditory tracking and phonological awareness is a massive stepping stone to fluent reading.

Today’s game time turned into a phonics-filled adventure with our Letterland Go Fish challenge! We took turns fishing for matching uppercase and lowercase letter pairs, racing to see who could collect the most sets. 🅰️🧍‍♀️🅰️

This fun twist on a classic game helped strengthen letter recognition, memory, turn-taking, and social skills—all while reinforcing those important upper-lowercase connections. The best part? It felt just like play, but it was packed with learning! 🧠💬✨

Today, our learners became word builders, using Letterland flashcards to assemble their own “ie” words like pie, tie, and cried! 🧱📖

This hands-on phonics activity helped reinforce vowel team recognition, improve spelling skills, and boost confidence in reading and writing. Plus, it encouraged creativity and independent thinking as children explored how sounds come together to make words. 💡✍️
