Shift it.
Move it.
Clear it.

Even a small change
can open space for your energy to move again.
And notice how you begin to breathe differently.

Sometimes what feels like an unexpected weight
is actually a reminder…
that there are better options waiting for you.

Today, I was sitting here making posts
for my Rays for Life Healing page.

It’s the weekend.
It’s raining outside.
So I thought… why not work?

Simon had other ideas.

He climbed onto my shoulders
completely uninvited,
settled himself in comfortably
and just sat there, purring very loudly in my ear.

I found myself leaning closer and closer to my screen,
being gently pressed forward.

His purring became almost hypnotic.
A soft, steady mantra…
impossible to ignore.
His vibration changed my own 🙏

And then it hit me.

I don’t have to sit here working today.

I could be spending time stroking Simon instead.
Or cooking the lovely asparagus I bought yesterday…
Or pretty much anything other than sitting here working!

Sometimes the weight isn’t there to hold you down.

It’s there to wake you up.

Pay attention when things feel heavy…
something is ready to shift, for your greater good.

And when you choose differently,
you feel lighter, freer… and more aligned with what you truly need today ✨

The moral for me?
Do what Simon says!

and returning to yourself.
