the end of an era ☄️
in 2018, Jack and I were travelling around VIC + SA when I told him "I think I want to be a naturopath", "what's a naturopath" he asked, to which I replied "I don't know but that's what I'm told" — one of those strong intuitive moments, where things crash onto my head and don't leave any choice but pursuing those endeavours (pun intended)
started in 2020 on a student visa, studying full time and working part time, I picked up many hobbies, planned many gateways trips and had the time to doodle my way through my biology and chemistry lessons. I had little friends and that was probably for the best
I went through pregnancy, early motherhood, postpartum depression and a year of half solo parenting while studying. always dozens of tabs open, both on my laptop and on my mind, being a student was part of my personality for over half a decade
2025 — I am a permanent resident, a mother, officially (or close to be) a naturopath
no longer a student, richer of many friends and discussions I shared with beautiful women, I am slowly closing this chapter of my life
I am so incredibly proud of myself and all my girls. we made it
although he appears on none of these photos (and will not read this), one of the pillars of my life through this journey was Jack. he always made time for me to study, supported me mentally, emotionally + financially, believed in me when I doubted, daydreamed of our life after I'd be done, worked so hard, often in silence to allow me to do it all. he is the love of my short life and the many years to come
I am so humble to have been able to help many souls who trusted me with their health and their struggles. I cherish every interactions and improvements and I vow to do my best to assist many more people along the way. today is about my achievements but really, this career is a dedication to others and I strive to honour this promise
