What a roller coaster this past year has been.
Personal self questioning, mental storms,
community / Political / Global concerns, conflicts layered upon conflicts—
and still, we are here.
Some smiling.
Others barely feeling.
Some surviving and struggling in silence.
I wish for another year rooted in solidarity,
in empathy, in sorority—
because it has not been easy for no one, I'd say.
So here we are, facing 2026
as it deserves to be faced:
naked and raw.
With love,
with anger,
with courage,
with compassion.
Grounded in strength,
yet reaching for lightness, slowing down when needed—
because we are moving through a heavy,
charged, demanding time.

and still, we choose to move forward
with heart, awareness,
and space to breathe.

Abhyāsa n’est pas seulement pratiquer les postures :
c’est revenir encore et encore à son intention, à son souffle, à sa présence, même quand c’est difficile, même quand l’esprit s’agite.

Abhyāsa, c’est cette petite fidélité quotidienne à soi-même.
Un retour au tapis, au souffle, à l’instant,
comme on arrose chaque jour une plante pour qu’elle devienne un arbre.

Tous les jours ne sont pas faciles ; certains sont plus faciles et plus légers, d'autres sont lourds, chaotiques et bruyants, mais une pratique régulière nous aide à nous souvenir de la direction que nous prenons.

November, not so soft but bright.
A month of yoga mats opening like little doors to the heart, of students showing up with dedication that fills me with gratitude every single time.
A month of shared breaths, warm smiles, and those tiny moments of connection that make teaching feel like pure magic.

thankful for the friends I met along the month, for the laughter, the support, and the gentle reminders that we’re never walking alone.
Happy for the sun I found in Spain — the light outside, and the light inside that it helped me remember.

Yes, November, friends and yoga practitioners, for every class, every hug, every sunrise of patience and love.
My heart is full.
Let’s step into december with softness and presence.
And damn! December is one step way from 2026.

From recatching sun and heat in Portugal, classes, Workshops, hommamade lunchtime with friends to concerts and kirtans with friends and Yogis;
Techno;
Roda de samba;
Spontaneous concert with a friend (after listening to some good songs, we realized the artist would be playing in Paris the next day, we bought the tickets and we're gone in the next day to watch her live);
Coffee, sports, balades.

I was yesterday writing this down on a notebook and decided to place it here too... some thoughts, a little navigation in between active practice and Savasana...

Between Surya and Chandra 🌞🌙

There is a dance—
between Surya (Sun), the radiant pulse of life,
and Chandra (Moon), the cool breath of night.
Not an even rhythm,
but a living tide—
rising, falling, remembering.

Surya calls the spirit into action,
awakens the will,
burns through the fog of doubt.
He is the heartbeat of purpose,
the golden current that says move, create, become.

Chandra answers softly,
with the silence that heals the flame.
She gathers what is scattered,
teaches the art of slowing into truth.
Her light does not push—
it receives, reflects, restores.

In YOGA, we walk between them—
inhale and exhale,
effort and surrender,
yang and yin—
not to balance perfectly,
but to listen deeply
to which one leads today.

For some days, the sun must rise in us—
to act, to express, to burn.
On others, the moon must cool our edges—
to soften, to feel, to return inward.

The path is not symmetry,
but navigation—
a fluid prayer between opposites,
a remembrance that both are sacred,
both are one breath—
the breath of the Self,
eternal, whole,
between Surya and Chandra.

Studies about The Upanishads
have you ever heard about it?

What are they?

-The term Upanishad means "sitting on the ground at the feet of the Master". The sacred Upanishad texts originate from India. They constitute the theoretical knowledge of the Veda (sacred texts of Vedism) and teach the ultimate Truth (called Brahman) and the solutions to access it in order to free oneself from inner suffering. Brought by sages centuries ago, they are interpreted by masters to disciples. At the beginning of the 19th century, it is thanks to the Upanishad mantras that Westerners discovered the Hindu religion. Some Upanishads even serve as a basis for the practice of yoga.

Among the traditional texts of yoga, you find the Upanishads of Yoga (or Yoga Upanishad ). They are composed of 20 upanishads in the Muktika canon and which show how to attain knowledge through yoga. This discipline is then a path of introspection leading to Brahman and therefore to liberation from inner suffering. But, practice alone is not enough. For this, you must broaden your knowledge by reading sacred Hindu texts.
