Happy Ọ̀sẹ̀ Ògún. 🖤🔥
In this video, I share my personal journey with Ògún — a journey that began with fear and misunderstanding, and matured into balance, clarity, and quiet strength.
Like many, I first encountered Ògún as iron, war, discipline, and destruction. For a healer, a woman rooted in softness, Orí-work, and womb wisdom, this energy felt intimidating. I wondered if iron would harden me… or erase me.
But Ògún did not come to make me harsh.
He came to make me clear.
In this reflection, I speak about:
why Ògún energy can feel frightening at first
how fear shifts when iron is refined by Orí
what balanced Ògún looks like in a woman’s life
how clarity replaces fear when you trust your capacity to respond

On this auspicious day,
we respectfully honour Obalesun Obatala Agbaye,
a living legend, an elder of great moral stature,
and the Head of the Obàtálá Temple in Ilé-Ifẹ̀.
We give thanks to Olódùmarè for your life of service,
for your steady guardianship of sacred knowledge,
and for the dignity, restraint, and ethical clarity
with which you carry the authority entrusted to you.
In Yorùbá cosmology, Òrìṣà Obàtálá is known as the custodian of coolness (ìtùtù),
the guide of all non-initiated heads (Orí),
and the divine force that restores balance, clarity of mind,
moral discipline, patience, and right character (Ìwà Pẹ̀lẹ́).
For this reason, elders who stand firmly in the path of Obàtálá
are of immeasurable value—
especially to the returning diaspora,
who seek grounding, calm, ethical leadership,
and reconnection with ancestral order after long displacement.
Baba, your life represents continuity, restraint, and wisdom.
Your presence anchors tradition without rigidity,
and your leadership offers peace without confusion.
May your days continue to be cooled by Obàtálá’s breath,
your health preserved,

Egbe Ifatoke Omoluabi – Home of Culture and Traditions
is now established in Europe through our France-based chapter,
Maison Ejìogbè .
Olódùmarè seun.
We give thanks to the Source of Creation, to Orí rere, to Ifá who witnesses destiny, and to the Egbe seen and unseen who walk with us.
We honour our ancestors of good character: those; who crossed waters in chains, those who did not survive the crossing, and those whose spirits were carried by the deep.
To Olókun, keeper of the depths, bearer of memory, wealth, and truth —
we acknowledge the ocean as both grave and womb,
the passage of suffering and the return of wisdom.
What was taken across the waters now returns with consciousness.
With the support of the Òrìṣà who stand for balance, justice, healing, and remembrance,
we affirm this establishment as an act of continuity, restoration, and service.
This milestone is not only an arrival —
