Gluten-free food in Paris, an appreciation post 🥰🥐🍷 As a celiac living in North America, I was blown away not only by the options I had in France, but the quality of those options. I have several dietary restrictions but I did not have a single reaction. The only place I could not get food was a quick service place at Versailles, but I had a snack with me.

About the Celiac Press

Welcome to the Celiac Press! We’re Isabelle and Peter. This blog is where we talk about cooking, Celiac disease, and all around tips and tricks for dealing with food sensitivities.

Isabelle has been dealing with Celiac disease and food sensitivities for the past decade or so. Meanwhile, Peter has been learning about gluten-free and allergy friendly cooking over the last two years—when Isabelle came into his life. Together, we have become better cooks and far more skilled in the kitchen than we could have ever imagined.

While we do go out to eat from time-to-time, we both cook a lot. While this is not only easier (and cheaper) with Isabelle’s dietary restrictions, we both really love to make our own food from scratch. And we do.

Between food prepping and finding the tools and recipes that work for us, we’ve been able to make food not only that both of us can eat, but that we also want to eat. It might take a little work (and some trial and error), but we’ve learned a lot about allergy-friendly cooking over the past couple of years.
