🧐 Hip openers actually have both physical and emotional benefits.

The Yogi says that feelings like sadness and stress are saved in the hip. Through regular practice of hip openers, these feelings can come up during the asanas and release after some time. The more you practice them, the better you will feel! ✨

The reason behind the connection between our hips and our feelings is our strongest hip flexor, the ilipsoas, which contracts during any kind of stress. It is linked with our nervous system.

While practicing hip openers, be attentive and see how far you can go that day. Try to accept your physical limitations and fully commit to the asana. 🧘🏼🙏🏽

On Thursday and Saturday mornings, we will start the day with a powerful and energising morning flow! 💪🏽
