Most clients come to at least 2 classes a week, some appear at all 5 of my weekly offerings. Some don't get to call our beautiful valley home all year round but come when they can or meet me in the ether through Zoom. Dedicated they are to their discipline 🙏

I am Nina, a YTT200 certified Yoga Teacher lucky enough to live in the beautiful Abondance Valley region of the French Alps. I have studied and practiced in India, Switzerland, Sri Lanka and Thailand. I have been practicing Yoga and a blend of Yoga and Pilates for almost 20 years and teaching every week for over 4 years. I am INDIV YOGA trained. A style dedictated to the individual and their unique needs. I teach Vinyasa Yoga. A soothing, calming, yet strengthening ‘flow’ style of yoga which focuses on cultivating the body mind connection through flowing movements linked to the breath. My style of Yoga is particularly focused on the core and I always work on strengthening and toning the whole body in each session, crown to toes.
I incorporate a full range of asanas and love to include balancing postures and holding each pose to improve stamina, which in turn improves muscle tone. Through the use of meditiation techniques my goal is to help you quiet the mind and promote wellbeing, feelings of inner peace, tranquility and calm.
I also practice and teach Yin Yoga. A super slow and deeply relaxing style which involves fewer poses, held for longer intervals, to target deep connective tissue within the joints, opening the hips and stretching the lower back. This style also helps to open energy (prana) channels throughout the body, as well as releasing physical and emotional tension and vastly improving flexibility. It is a great compliment to your ususal 'yang' practice, or any form of physical exercise. Total relaxation!
Classes always start and close with gentle neck and shoulder stretches and finish with a guided relaxation in Savasana.
Classes run all year round, although location and schedule does change with the seasons.
All to the gentle sounds of chillout music, the scent of aromatherapy essential oils and flickering candle light with the beautiful French Alps as backdrop.
