What is Total Triage

It is an appointment system that involves a GP triaging all appointment requests before an appointment is given. This means that anyone requesting an appointment or advice will have to make their request by completing an online consult form. Our online consultation forms provide us with key information about your problem and enable our clinician and care navigator to either book you at the appropriate clinic or signpost you to the right service.

Online consult form can be submitted via our website. If you have any issues submitting an online consult, our Patient Care Navigators can assist in completing this.

🔴 Important message to all our patients 🔴

We will be CLOSED TODAY Thursday 27th November 13:30 - 17:30 for Primary Care Network Training.

This provides the PCN (Vine House, Sheepcot Medical Centre and Abbotswood Medical Centre) the opportunity to address their own learning and development.

Online Patient Triage will be unavailable during this time and will re-open at 17:30.

The practice will be fully open again at 17:30.

If you have an urgent medical need during this period, please telephone the usual practice number and you will be directed to Herts Urgent Care.

For immediate, life-threatening emergencies, continue to call 999.
