ADULT & CHILD Sound sessions Wednesday 13th August. 🎶🎶🎶
The Quartz Room, Tower Business Centre, Hirwaun Industrial Estate CF44 9UP
Following on from last year's adult and child sessions where we had babies from 3 months up to 17 year olds attending, here is another opportunity to show the benefits sound therapy can have even on the youngest in our community 🎵🎵🎵
These sessions are gentle sounds of Chime pipes, Singing bowls, Koshi chimes and gentle gong sounds for approximately 30 minutes, following a break we will then have another 30 mins or so of more powerful gong sounds.
Please be prepared for slight disturbances if some cannot settle and can leave quietly at any time.
The 10. 30 session will be for babies and up to 7 year old, older children are also welcome to attend.
The 12.30 session will be for 7 years of age and over.

If you struggle to relax, have difficulty sleeping and generally feel you have the weight of the world on your shoulders, a gong bath could be the perfect reset, bringing balance on many levels.
When gongs are played therapeutically and not "banged" loudly this produces many tones that gently increase and decrease in volume /vibration, this has many aspect from the science where the tones work on the brainwaves to the spiritual of balancing and clearing energy.
There is so much more to the gongs than I mention here with everyone having a slightly different experience.
I have run regular community sessions throughout the South Wales valleys since 2017, also delivering staff wellbeing, agency sessions, carers projects, even alcohol free hen parties and more recently the reflective part at a funeral.

When Gongs are played therapeutically (not banged loudly like you see at the start of many films or in heavy metal bands)this produces many tones that gives a similar effect to meditation with all the benefits that meditation brings.
These benefits can include improved sleep, symptoms associated with stress and anxiety reduce that in turn could help with pain reduction plus many more positive benefits.
People often comment they have a feeling of lightness after a gong bath as if a weight has been lifted.
You simply lay on a yoga mat or bring anything comfortable to lay on, some bring garden style reclining chairs, a blanket and pillow /cushion and let the sound waves wash over you for a deep sense of peace and wellbeing.
March sessions are Monday 10th @ 10.30 and Monday 24th @ 6.30 Glan Y Nant Community Hall, Pengam Rd, Glan Y Nant NP12 3XQ.
